Safety
A place to log your life with games only works if you feel at ease in it. Here are the tools that protect your account, the control over who sees what, and what we do when something goes wrong.
Only you get in
A strong password is the start. These layers take care of the rest.
Two-step verification
A code from your authenticator app on top of the password. If someone learns the password, they still cannot get in.
Passkeys
Sign in with biometrics, your device PIN or a security key. No password to leak.
Your sessions
See where your account is signed in right now and sign out anything you don't recognise.
Against bots
Sign-up, sign-in and password recovery go through Cloudflare's anti-abuse check.
You decide who sees
Sharing is good when it is your choice. All of this lives in your settings.
Private account
Keep your profile to the people you approve.
Who sees, who comments
Choose whether a post is for everyone or only your followers, and who can comment on it.
Block
Block someone and they stop interacting with you and what you post.
A private library
What you play can be yours alone too: the library has its own privacy setting.
Rules that actually hold
Different opinions are welcome. Harassment, hate and scams are not.
Reports
Profiles, reviews, sessions, lists, screenshots and comments can be reported right where they appear. Every report goes to moderation.
Human moderation
People review reports, remove what breaks the rules and suspend accounts when needed.
Screened images
The images you upload, from screenshots to your avatar, go through a check for adult content.
Verified accounts
The badge confirms an account belongs to who it says, so impersonation does not fool you.
What is yours stays yours
From the age you confirm to the entries you write.
Games for the right age
Games with a high age rating ask you to confirm your age before showing their content. Signed out, the date is not stored.
Take your data
Download everything you logged: library, reviews, journal and lists.
Delete whenever you want
Clear one kind of data at a time, or delete the whole account.
Only what is needed
We collect the minimum the site needs to work, and the cookies are only the essential ones.
Community guidelines
What does not belong on uloggd, what each report reason means, and what moderation does when a rule is broken.
Harassment
Disagree with the opinion, not the person. Personal attacks, stalking, threats and insistent messages to someone who does not want them are harassment.
Hate speech
Nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin, not even as a joke.
Spoilers
Reviews, sessions and screenshots that give the story away carry the spoiler mark. Without it, moderation can mark it for you instead of removing it. In comments, warn before telling.
Sexual content
No explicit sexual content, in text or images. Uploaded images go through a check for adult content.
Child safety
Zero tolerance for any content that puts children and teenagers at risk. The account is suspended, and information is preserved as the law requires.
Violence and self-harm
Nothing that encourages violence against someone or self-harm, and no images of real violence. If someone seems to be in danger, report it; in immediate danger, contact the authorities.
Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, creator, brand or studio. The verification badge confirms whose account it is.
Privacy
Do not expose anyone's personal information: address, phone, documents, private conversations or photos.
Spam
No repeated self-promotion, mass links or the same text pasted in many places.
How moderation acts
- 01
Report
A person on the team reads every report. Whoever is reported is not told who reported them, and the reporter is not told the outcome.
- 02
Removal
What breaks these guidelines comes down, and the author is notified with the reason. An unmarked spoiler may just get the mark.
- 03
Warning
A warning arrives in your notifications and is recorded in the Infractions card, in Settings. The account keeps working.
- 04
Suspension
For 1, 7 or 30 days, or permanent in serious cases. The account cannot post or interact, and what it posted stops showing until the end. Nothing is deleted.
Every decision can be appealed: write to support with your handle and what happened. A person reads every appeal, and a decision can be reversed. Appeal a decision
Children and teenagers
uloggd does not tolerate exploitation, abuse or any content that puts children and teenagers at risk. People under 18 should use the site with their guardians' knowledge and supervision.
To report, write with the subject “Child Safety”, including the link, the user and a factual description. Do not download, copy or forward illegal material.
